Surprise! more snow...

So this morning we woke up to another 2-4" of snow. It's all starting to look the same to me... and no matter how many photos you take, you can't really see the difference between 2" and 6" at this point. That doesn't stop me from taking repeated photos of snow, icicles, and Dillon. I would understand that for most of you these photos are probably all the same but it keeps you occupied when you're snowbound. I have more photos to post shortly.

day number 5 of snow... and ICE

we're always up for a small, cozy snow storm... but this is a bit rediculous. we are on day number five and still no sign of it stopping anytime soon. to ease our boredom we have taken numerous photos of icicles and dillon. we can't decide which is worse... being stuck at home for days on end or the news coverage of 'Arctic Blast 2008'.

dillon's first snow

well he wasn't as excited about touching it as much as we thought. however, he enjoys watching it fall out of the sky. we are going on day 4 of being stuck at home (erik is able to get out as needed). from the sounds of it, it doesn't look like we may get a break from this until after christmas.

meeting uncle nathan

Dillon got to meet Uncle Nathan while he was down from Alaska. Dillon really enjoyed Nathan... and his watch. Nathan and I were also able to go for a plane ride to Salem and back with Tim.

happy halloween

What a spicy little pepper

jr and mandie's wedding

We spent the day at McMenamins Edgefield to celebrate JR and Mandie's wedding. Erik played the roll of both best man and bridesmaid.

anna's 1st birthday

Dillon had his first taste of a birthday party. Our friends Todd and Amy came down to celebrate their little girl Anna 1st birthday (in early October... yes I'm that far behind). Not sure that Anna really understood, but fun was had by all.

visit with grandma

beautiful day to fly

Tim was nice enough to take our neighbor Lila up for beautiful flight. It saw a gorgeous day and saw a good portion of SW Washington and part of Portland. Lila was even able to see Mount St. Helens.

finally we get to see the yrazabals

Connecting with Sofia and Ana has been a lot harder since I went back to work. We were able to hang out a few weeks ago and let Dillon and Ana play. Jeff even taught Dillon how to do 'the sprinkler'...
